Accreditation

Campbellsville University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award certificates, associate, bachelors, and masters degrees.

Campbellsville’s music program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). The teacher preparation program is approved by the Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) for teacher education and certification and is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation for Teacher Education (NCATE). The NASDTEC Interstate Contract provides an opportunity for graduates to earn teaching certificates in other states, although there may be applicable conditions. The Baccalaureate Social Work and Masters of Social Work programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy is accredited by the Commission on Academics for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE). The RN to BSN Nursing Program is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

In addition to being ranked as one of America’s Best Christian Colleges, and a top Kentucky and southern institution in accredited national and world university rankings like the U.S. News & World Report, Campbellsville University is also a Military Friendly School, an NAIA Five-Star Champions of Character Institution and has been named to President’s Higher Education Honor Roll for Community Service.

The Center for International Education at Campbellsville University offers a wide variety of exchanges and programs for students. We have close ties with schools in Ukraine, Belize, Brazil, China, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and Spain. The CIE also offers programs in 49 different countries around the globe. You could study Arabic in Amman, Jordan, have an internship in Australia or participate in service learning in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The world is at our doorstep and the opportunities are endless!
