The Cracow University of Technology offers many variants of study. The current educational offer of CUT covers 25 graduate studies of I and II degree among 7 faculties. At 4 faculties studies are available in the English language.

INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR EDUCATION

International students who would like to study at our Univerity has also the possibility to study in polish, after finishing the one-year preparatory course at the International Centre of Education. We have students from all over the world, who is studying at the Cracow University of Technology in polish after they graduate from ICE.

The International Centre of Education is an inter-faculty unit of the Cracow University of Technology. We have been welcoming international students and researchers for over 25 years.

The aims of the Centre are twofold – firstly, to conduct Urban Studies and Sustainability Studies; – secondly, to provide one-year Preparatory Courses and short intensive Bridging Courses for international students intending to start studying in Poland.

Preparatory and Bridging Courses are means by which international students may better meet the scholastic requirements for entry into universities. Courses at ICE are particularly appropriate for providing the academic background needed to succeed in an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at a university in Poland. We offer Preparatory Courses to degree programmes in many disciplines of engineering and science, architecture, arts.

Classes are taught by experienced lecturers and researchers. Our international students have a very good record of personal and academic achievement.

MSc Architecture

Starting from Spring Semester, the Faculty of the Architecture Cracow University of Technology offers three semesters (1.5-year) Master’s Degree Studies in English (M.Arch.). The offer of these studies is meant for students with Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and prepares them for professional practice as architects. [+]

Starting from Spring Semester, the Faculty of Architecture in Cracow University of Technology offers three semesters (1.5-year) Master’s Degree Studies in English (M.Arch.). The offer of these studies is meant for students with Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and prepares them for professional practice as architects.

The program of studies is exactly the same as the curriculum in Polish which is a professional degree program accredited by The Polish Accreditation Committee, The Accreditation Commission for Polish Universities of Technology, the EU evaluation as well as The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) evaluation.

The program of studies lasts for three semesters. The total number of ECTS credits is 90 (30 per semester). The total number of hours is 900 plus 150 for Internships after the 1st semester (1st semester: 405h +150h; 2nd semester: 390h, 3rd semester: 75h).... [-]

The Faculty of Civil Engineering is one of the largest faculties of Cracow University of Technology, and is also among the most prominent Polish faculties educating prospective civil engineers. Our Faculty offers 14 specializations, including Building and Engineering Structures, Road Engineering, Railroad Engineering, Mechanics of Materials and Structures, Bridges and Underground Structures, Technology and Management of Construction.

Energy Systems and Machinery is the Power Engineering MSc studies program taught in English. The target audience is both Polish and foreign students. The course consists of three semesters. At the first semester the basic subjects are included (e.g. Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Power Plant Technology and Numerical Methods among others). The second semester is dedicated to the Directional Subjects (e.g. Computational Structural Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics) and specialization subjects depending on the selected module. The Master of Landscape Architecture study programme focuses on contemporary issues of sustainable use of existing landscape resources. It follows the guidelines of IFLA/UNESCO Charter for Landscape Architectural Education, the IFLA Guidance Document for Recognition or Accreditation – Professional Education Programmes in Landscape Architecture and ECLAS Guidance on Landscape Architecture Education. The special emphasis is put on landscape design and landscape planning, as well as development of advanced professional competences of students. The specifics of Landscape Architecture study programme at CUT is demonstrated in the development of Integrated Design Studio – semester projects covering broad range of technical, environmental, cultural and design issues, resulting in one individual project prepared by students in each semester.
