For non-EU students residing abroad, the International Student Desk can help with university pre-registration through Embassies, registrations, enrolments and any possible programme changes.
Before pre-enrolling at an Italian Embassy or Consulate, non-EU students residing abroad should check for available places in the programme(s) they are interested in. See Manifesto Degli Studi on our website.
For all students (non-EU, EU and Italian) who possess a qualification obtained outside Italy, the International Student Desk provides information by email and in person (by appointment) and manages qualification equivalence requests by checking the documentation submitted (declarations of value and degree certificates that have been translated and legalised by the Italian Embassy in the country that issued the certificate).
The International Student Desk also accepts and manages requests for the validation of foreign degrees ("equipollenza") during the year from January to April.
