Introduction

The University of Trento, a young, medium-sized institution in a human-scale city that offers an excellent quality of life. The University of Trento has always aimed at reaching and keeping high-quality standards and over the years has also been able to create a solid policy basis, aimed at delivering high-quality services to its students and the territory. The result is a wide range of excellent courses, supported by a high-level scientific research profile which even achieved important confirmations at international level. Being a relatively small University and thanks to the Opera Universitaria, the University of Trento offers its members a very attractive package of services. Another great strength of the University is its outstanding international character. Testifying to this are the many cooperation projects with foreign universities which open up many opportunities to study and work abroad and the community of foreign lecturers in Trento and the fruitful, continuous dialogue with the territory.

The Faculty of Economics of the University of Trento was established more than 30 years ago and is recognised nationally and internationally as one of the top Italian Faculties of economics, both thanks to the quality of its research and teaching activities, as well as the high qualification level it provides its students with; this fact is proven by the high number of students who are employed after graduation.

The Faculty of Economics of Trento is recognised for the quality of its teaching activities and scientific research in the study of economic sciences. We have worked hard to create a modern and innovative structure with a network of services which are constantly developing. Special attention is paid to meeting the needs of our students and providing a comfortable, serious and stimulating learning environment.

Our Faculty’s courses aim at creating a broad, in-depth knowledge in the fields of economics, management and law, which will equip students with the techniques and flexibility to face the world of employment both today and, more importantly, tomorrow. We are convinced that a wide-ranging background which incorporates both general and specialized knowledge and abilities, is the basis for preparing modern and dynamic professionals.
