The study program “Chemistry, Technology, and Materials” consists of two specializations, “Chemistry and Chemical Technology” and “Materials Chemistry and Technology”. This program is designed as a follow-up Master's program (culminating with a Master's degree and the Czech title Ing., the equivalent of an MSc). The program builds upon prior education of graduates with bachelor degrees (Bc) from the UCT Prague “Chemistry and Technology” bachelor program or an equivalent bachelor program at a university or comparable institution abroad.

The Applied geology in the master’s study is a technically oriented geological field of study that to a necessary extent ensures all the geological research and survey activities. The study is focused mainly on the education of experts in the areas of hydrogeology, engineering geology, technical mineralogy and petrography, environmental geochemistry, deposit geology and applied geophysics.

The course is oriented towards advanced topics of solid state physics and their applications in engineering practice and natural sciences. The aim of the course is to impart knowledge of the physical substance, theoretical description, and interpretation of various phenomena and properties following from the variety of the internal structure of solids, to explain the main methods of their experimental study and computer-based modelling, and to give an overview of the present-day and potential applications used for investigating these phenomena and properties, and to introduce the interdisciplinary relations.

Master studies of Systematic Biology and Ecology follows the Bachelor degree program. Students are educated also in other biological disciplines close to this specialization, which will prove to be very useful for successful transfer of their knowledge into practice.

The course is oriented towards nuclear physics and elementary particle physics i.e. disciplines presenting fundamental facts about the structure of matter and principal interactions of the microworld.
