Curriculum
What you’ll study
Areas of study in the course include system dynamics and control, thermal engineering, fluid dynamics, and mechanics of solids.
You will complete:
- 8 x core units
- 6 x mechanical engineering elective units
- a minimum of 2 x project or research pathway units
Professional practice
This course has a professional practice component that is usually undertaken over 12 weeks. This provides you with an opportunity to gain industry exposure within an engineering environment.
Mandatory work hours
This course requires you to complete 420 work hours.
