Introduction
Science of Climate is an interclass Master's degree program offering training activities in both the field of Physics and Geophysics. It combines the physical-mathematical knowledge in the specific field of meteorology, oceanography, and climatology with the study of the other components of the climate system (Iitosphere, cryosphere, and biosphere). In addition, the program allows students to acquire practical skills through the use of sophisticated measurement instruments and global and regional numerical models, which are essential both in the research field and the service industry.
These multidisciplinary skills are considered strategic to face the challenges of tomorrow imposed by climate change, not only in the world of research but also in civil society and in the industrial field. They contribute to the development of two key professional roles in this context: the Climatologist and the Expert in Climate Change.
