Sustainable Energy Engineering MSc is a program for future decision-makers in the field of power engineering and environmental protection with the ambition to be leaders of energy transition implementation.
The program covers all aspects of energy transition such as:
- renewable energy
- low emission combustion
- circular economy
- new generation alternative fuels
- waste to energy
- the efficiency of power systems
- energy storage
- decommissioning
- world energy policy
Additionally, the program delivers skills related to management together with soft skills – like presentation, discussion, making influence, problem-solving, and making value judgments. The program is shaping leadership skills together with the ability to work in a group in different positions and is conducted by the Silesian University of Technology (Poland) and Instituto Superior Técnico (Portugal).
The program is flexible in delivery. Students can shape the study path according to their preferences choosing different modules – especially during the second year.
