Nord University is committed to delivering relevant education and research, with a particular focus on blue and green growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship, as well as welfare, health, and education.
We collaborate closely with international partners worldwide to expand our academic network and enrich the student experience. Founded in 1985, Nord University Business School has developed significant expertise in various areas. Our strengths lie in innovation, entrepreneurship, high north knowledge, and, more recently, emergency preparedness and management alongside traditional business disciplines. Nord University’s significance lies in the ability to address global challenges with new knowledge, rooted in our region and its unique resources.
We aim to strengthen research and education related to Northern Norway and the High North, contributing to sustainable value creation and employment. Located in Sámeednam/Saepmie, the university is responsible for research and development within Lule and South Saami languages and culture. Nord will strengthen Saami educational programs, and increase the scope of multidisciplinary Saami research. Admission requirements
All applicants must meet the general admission requirements set by the Higher Education Entrance Qualification (country-specific) and document proficiency in English and Norwegian languages. Some programmes may have specific admission requirements in addition to the general admission requirements.

Most undergraduate programmes taught in Norwegian are available for application through the Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (NUCAS) / Samordna opptak.
Most master degree programmes taught in Norwegian are available through Nord University's online application portal Søknadsweb.
Most continuing and further education programmes are available through the application portal for continuing and further education.
