Financial Engineering

The School of Management Science and Engineering (hereinafter referred to as “the School”) was established in 2017. The School can be traced back to School of Economics and Management in August 2006. The School focuses on higher education with the market as the guide and teaching team construction as the guarantee, to deepen the teaching reform, to normalize the teaching management and to constantly optimize the educational environment. The School has cultivated numerous innovative, versatile and applied talents for Jiangsu province, Yangtze delta area and other places of China.

Our School offers one doctor degree program for Management Science and Engineering (first-level discipline); one master degree program for Management Science and Engineering (first-level discipline); one professional master degree program for Financial Engineering; three undergraduate degree programs for Information Management and Information System, Logistics Management, Financial Engineering. The School now has 1082 undergraduates and 45 postgraduates.

The School has built a team of full-time and part-time teachers led by Pro. Li Lianshui. There are currently 68 full-time and part-time teachers, among which there are 28 associate professors and 9 full professors, and 20 lecturers. There are 16 doctoral supervisors and 24 master student supervisors in the degree programs of our School. The ratio of doctors of full-time teachers is 98% (including PhD candidates). Many teachers of our School are the experts receiving the government special allowance distributed by the State Council, Middle-aged and Young Experts of Outstanding Contribution in Jiangsu Province, and selected in top-level talents programs of Jiangsu province such as “333 Project”, “Blue Project”, “Six Talents Peak” and so on.
