COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Master of International Business helps you develop wide-ranging skills that will enhance your effectiveness as a manager working in international business.

The program provides a solid grounding in the foundations of management and strategic thinking, relative to international and global market operations. It also provides an understanding of how operating across borders impacts different functional areas. This program develops awareness of policies governing the world trade and investment system, and emphasises the Asia-Pacific region.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This program is for graduates who wish to establish a management career in international business, and who aim to develop an awareness of the policies governing the world trade and investment system.

Entry Requirements

200 POINT ENTRY

  1. In order to be considered for entry, applicants must have completed:
  • an undergraduate degree in any discipline, or equivalent; and
  • a statement of intent outlining why they wish to be considered for the course.
  1. In ranking applications, the Selection Committee will consider:
  • prior academic performance; and
  • the statement of intent.
  1. The Selection Committee may seek further information to clarify any aspect of an application in accordance with the Admission and Selection into Course Policy.
  2. The minimum English language requirements for this course are Band 6.5.

150 POINT ENTRY

  1. The Selection Committee will evaluate the applicant's ability to pursue the course successfully using the following criteria:
  • An undergraduate degree in a business/commerce or related discipline or equivalent;
  • The applicant’s submitted statement of intent in seeking entry; and
  1. The Selection Committee may conduct interviews and tests and may call for referee reports and employer references, as appropriate, to elucidate any of the matters referred to above.
