Language skills according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR):

German-language degree programs: German language skills at level B2

English-language degree programs: English language skills at level B2

Please have the following documents ready

Proof of higher education entrance qualification

Confirmation of bachelor's or diploma degree

Certificates of employment and further training

If you do not yet have your final documents at the time of application, it is sufficient to submit your most recent annual or semester certificate for a bachelor's application or a current transcript of records (including grades and ECTS credits) for a master's application.

You can submit the final documents by email before the start of the degree program.

When you apply online, you can choose the type of admission interview you would prefer: either online via MS Teams or in person at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol. If there are several admission dates to choose from, we recommend that you apply for the earliest possible date to increase your chances of getting a place on the course.

It is possible to register for several degree programs. Please make sure that you prioritize correctly.

After completing the online application, you will receive a summary of your application data by email. If we have any questions about your application or require further application documents, our application team will contact you within 14 days.

The prerequisite for admission to the admission interview is that the admission requirements have been (probably) met. The 

 at the FH Kufstein Tirol - depending on your choice in the online application. You will be informed about the exact procedure no later than three days before the selected admission date.

During the admissions interview, you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself, explain your personal plans and goals for the future, and present your reasons for studying at the FH Kufstein Tirol. The interview team, consisting of two representatives of the respective degree program, will thus gain an impression of your motivation and suitability for the degree program. The interview will be conducted in 

 if the language of instruction of the degree program is German; otherwise, it will be conducted exclusively in English.

The program team also assesses your previous professional experience during the admissions interview. In doing so, a distinction is made between 

subject-specific professional experience/teaching

You will be informed of the results no later than 14 days after the admission interview. If you are offered a place, you must return the signed study agreement within three weeks and transfer the tuition fee for the first two semesters.

Funding Information

The tuition fee of € 363.36 per semester (in addition to the membership fee for the Austrian Students’ Union (ÖH)).

Applicants from third countries (non-EU, EEA or Swiss nationals) are required to pay a deposit of EUR 726.72 towards the tuition fee as part of their online application.

The deposit on the tuition fee will be used for the first year of study in the event of admission.

Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements, do not appear for the admission interview or do not take up an offered place will receive a refund of the tuition deposit less expenses and exchange rate differences.
