Postgraduate Courses
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized higher education institution is required.
- Demonstrate English language proficiency at a minimum B2 CEFR level through IELTS, TOEFL, First Certificate, or equivalent tests. Any previous knowledge of the Spanish language is also taken into consideration.
- Submitting all academic diplomas, transcripts and other records from your previous educational endeavours.
- Completing the BLC Spain application form, providing comprehensive details about your personal information, educational history, and other relevant information.
- Preparing a thoughtful 200 to 300-word response to the business case that our Admissions team will send to you.
- We are successfully passing an online admission interview with a member of our academic team.
Undergraduate Programs
- Completion of secondary education with a recognized diploma (IB, A-level, etc.) or equivalent is required.
- Proof of English language proficiency (minimum B2 CEFR level) through tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, First Certificate, or equivalent. Any previous Spanish language knowledge will also be considered.
- Submission of all academic transcripts or records from secondary education.
- Completion of BLC Spain application form, providing personal information, educational history, etc.
- A 200 to 300-word answer to the business case that the Admissions team will send you
- Passing an online admission interview with a member of our academic team.

Who Needs a Visa to Study in Spain?
Non-EU/EEA/Swiss Citizens: If you’re from outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), or Switzerland, you will likely need a student visa to study in Spain for any period longer than 90 days.
EU/EEA/Swiss Citizens: Citizens from these areas do not need a visa to study in Spain. However, they must register with the local Spanish authorities if they plan to stay longer than three months.
How Long Do Visa Applications Take?
Visa processing times vary by consulate or embassy. It’s best to apply 2-3 months before your intended start date, as processing can range from 15 days to 2-3 months. We advise starting early to ensure your visa is ready for your studies.
Can I apply from Within Spain?
Thanks to recent legislation changes, you can now apply for your first-year visa from within Spain itself. This option is available within the first 60 days of your arrival in Spain.
