Introduction

GLOBAL AFFAIRS (ENGLISH, THESIS, WEEKEND)

Profile of the Program

The purpose of this program is to provide an outstanding professional, multidisciplinary education to train the next generation of global leaders of international institutions, global civil society, and business. The MGA will equip students with a sophisticated understanding of the larger political, economic, and social contexts of global affairs and with the skills necessary to work strategically and effectively within the evolving global system.

Qualification Awarded

The students who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree of Master of Master of Arts.

Specific Admission Requirements

Student admission for this graduate program is made by evaluating the level of undergraduate success and level of proficiency in English; the score of ALES or International exams like GRE and GMAT which are approved by Higher Education Council (YÖK). International Students are accepted to the graduate programs with an internationally accredited undergraduate diploma and the score of above-mentioned exams. The acceptance of exchange students is executed within the framework of mutual agreements (Erasmus or General Academic Protocol) between Bahçeşehir Universtiy and the partner universities. Special Students can be registered to the courses upon approval of the related academic unit.

Recognition of Prior Learning

At Bahcesehir University, full‑time students can be exempted from some courses within the framework of the related by‑laws. If the content of the course previously taken in another institution is equivalent to the course offered at BAU, then the student can be exempted from this course with the approval of the graduate school after the evaluation of the course content.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

The students graduating from this programme awarded Master of Global Affairs degree.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, international organizations, international non‑governmental organizations, multinational companies, global businesses, the media, the public and private sectors, policy analysis, policy formulation and implementation.

Graduation Requirements

To graduate from this program, Cumulative Grade Points Average (Cum. GPA) must be no less than 3.00/4.00 and a minimum of 120 ECTS credits must be completed. Students have to earn minimum C grade to pass the courses.
