In the 1st semester, compulsory subjects are taught in the afternoon. In the 2nd semester, the modules corresponding to the specialties are taught:

• External internships: 24 ECTS if the Aquaculture Production specialty is chosen.
• Aquaculture Production Specialty: Afternoon or full-day schedule (in the case of specific farming materials
• Biotechnology Specialty: Morning schedule. Theoretical classes are taught by video-conference with the aim of not having to travel.

In the third semester, corresponding to the second year, students will take 24 credits to choose between:

• Internships in Companies* - 24 credits
• Introduction to Research** - 24 credits
• Project - 24 credits

It will provide the student with the basic knowledge, skills and abilities that will allow them to design and carry out research in the field of aquaculture, design, manage and control inland and marine facilities, evaluate their environmental impact and respond to R&D+ needs. i of the sector, implementing strategies that allow the future development of the aquaculture industry.

This degree qualifies graduates to practice all professions related to aquaculture in all its aspects, including companies dedicated to diagnosis and biotechnology applied to aquaculture.
