Introduction
The Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Public Policy (MPPP), at the professional master's level, is offered by the School of Humanities, Business and Law integrates and shares the pedagogical didactic structure of the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Economics at the University Católica de Brasília (PPGE-UCB), which has Master's and Doctoral Academic Doctoral courses in Economics. Both are of the academic modality and recognized with grade 6 in the last CAPES quadrennial evaluation. This recognition places the UCB Economics Program in the select group of Programs considered as Academic Excellence by CAPES, in the set of the 5 best programs in the country.
The Professional Master's in Public Policy, linked to the Economics Program, stands out for its highly qualified faculty, qualified intellectual production among the largest in the area of Economics in the country, outstanding internationalization and proven. The general objective of MPPP is to offer quality academic training, at the professional master's level, to professionals from different fields, providing its students with a solid scientific knowledge in public policies, which enables the use of modern tools for the elaboration, analysis, and evaluation of public policies and social projects.
The target audience of the Professional Master in Public Policy is made up of professionals from the public sector, the private sector, and the third sector, who need to prepare, evaluate and monitor public policies and social projects. The knowledge acquired in the course can be used actively in the financial and non-financial sectors of the economy as a whole.
The areas of concentration of the MPPP Program are Public Policies and Social Projects, Governance and Public Sector, and Economy of Regulation.
