Digitalisation challenges social and health care activities as well as the way of thinking. A new approach to social and healthcare services means that the client/patient receives all information about him or her and is equally involved in the decision-making about his or her own care. Digitalisation does not, however, develop by itself but it requires multidisciplinary expertise to achieve commitment to change in the working life and to promote digitalisation actively. Digitalisation also offers possibilities for business intelligence. Health services in all EU countries have been available since the beginning of 2014, and digitalisation is introduced to add value to the cross-border services. The Master’s Degree in Digital Health provide the graduates with skills needed for innovative development of digital social and healthcare services, service production, expert organisation management and for the development of service quality and management. The studies also prepare the students for planning, implementing and evaluating the social welfare and health care reform in different operational environments....

The course contains a compulsory core of professional subjects relevant to all science disciplines. The subjects in the core provide a backbone of skills important to a professional scientist; be they engaged in research, science businesses, industries or government organisations. These are the skills of communication, critical analysis, project management and innovation and commercialisation. The professional strand is complemented by a choice of major study in a specific science or mathematics discipline. Students in the Marine Science and Management major, for example, are exposed to multidisciplinary and cross-institutional coursework, with a capstone project taught at the Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS) and multiple lecture series and practical components using real-life data from the Australian Integrated Marine Observatory System. The second half of the course comprises a substantial research component, giving students an opportunity to undertake original, cutting-edge research. For students with suitable achievement levels, this provides a direct pathway to a PhD, and carries points that can be used in the scholarship application process....

Although the need to know is an innate characteristic of the human being, as well as the need to anticipate events, the chaos derived from the complex reality in which we move requires a constant effort, usually imperceptible, to order such complexity, equipping itself with instruments that allow the decoding of existing information. This official master's degree of Intelligence makes us see in this way that the human being faces the real world and the information it contains through brain processes that allow ultimately transforming information - whether public or private - into knowledge....

Masters in Professional Studies. WHY STUDY SOCIETAL RESILIENCE?
How do we as a society cope with complex, collective problems such as climate change, terrorism, and rising healthcare costs? Societal Resilience is the capacity to survive, adapt and grow in the face of these stresses and shocks. STRUCTURE OF THE PROGRAMME
In the first year, you will take introductory courses on current and future social problems and resilient responses, and on big and small data in social sciences. You will also get training in research methodology and data analysis. The second year revolves around an internship of 24 credits and a concluding thesis of 30 credits. The thesis is your own piece of social scientific research, and can also be used as a first scientific publication for a future PhD dissertation. In parallel to the courses, you will participate in a community of learners: attending workgroups on tutorials, discussions, and intervision, co-creating knowledge with fellow students and professors....
