The aim of the Computational Linguistics program is to prepare students for research in the area of natural language processing and the development of applications dealing with both written and spoken language. Examples of such applications are systems of information retrieval, machine translation, grammar checking, text summarization and information extraction, automatic speech recognition, voice control, spoken dialogue systems, and speech synthesis.
The aim is to educate a school-leaver who is able to become a conductor of different kinds and level of choirs (children, girls, half-mixed of youth, women, mixed and also men). The study is tied with preceding bachelor study, concentrated on gaining special musical knowledge and abilities. Master study degree focuses on collaboration with pedagogical and psychological subjects and with praxis in different choirs to the development of musical pedagogical skills. The subjects take account of the pedagogical orientation of master degree.
The graduates of Ecology subject acquire theoretical knowledge and practical (methodic) skills covering all common ecological concepts, and within this framework, they achieve a specific education in terrestrial and aquatic domains, encompassing all structural levels from molecular ecology, autecology, intra- and interpopulation interactions, towards large-scale ecology (communities, ecosystems, phylogeography). They are able to use recent analytical approaches of quantitative ecological data. The graduate is well prepared either to highly demanding research work including the relevant Ph.D. study or to professional and methodical (but legislative) work as in surveys, analyses or monitoring for state, public or commercial administration.
