Program Overview
The Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is an innovative program through which students are prepared for leadership careers in government and industry. Students have the opportunity to work across disciplines in emerging areas of technology. The program is designed to build a solid background on the fundamentals of the related discipline, and at the same time, it can be tailored to meet individual needs under the guidance of an academic advisor. Master's Degree Program Requirements
Besides the requirements listed in the Graduate Programs Bulletin, students should demonstrate familiarity with computers and evidence of capacity for graduate study to apply for this program. Students who choose the thesis option must complete 24 credit hours of course work and 6 hours of thesis research; students who choose the non-thesis option must take 33 credit hours.
