Introduction
The Master's course in Education at the Center for Theology and Humanities at the Catholic University of Petrópolis was evaluated and recommended by CAPES in 2001.
It is characterized by plurality, flexibility, and interdisciplinarity. The faculty comprises different analytical approaches and theoretical and methodological perspectives. The curricular proposal was formulated in view of the need to adapt the course to the research developed, to the characteristics of the student body, to the current composition of the faculty, and to CAPES recommendations expressed in the Program's evaluation forms.
The Master in Education makes research the organizing nucleus of academic activities. It seeks to clearly establish its focus of the specialization, as well as the lines of research it develops. The intention is to guarantee organicity to the activities in order to integrate teaching, research, scientific production, and guidance.
