Management Course of Public Institutions

Training aims

Developing attitudes and decision-making skills in the local, regional, national and international public service, including an understanding of the specificities of the socio-economic, political, legal and financial environment. In a context of profound changes in the public sphere, the Master seeks to provide frameworks for analysis and to understand the tensions to which organizations are subject and the pathways of evolution chosen.

opportunities

The training prepares students for senior positions in public institutions in general, both nationally and internationally. The training aims to provide students with knowledge of the practices, theories, and methodologies associated with public policy issues, an understanding of the internal management of public organizations, their relations with their client users ... as well as the development and implementation of public policies.

Academic partners and diplomas

The training is organized in partnership with HEC - School of Management of the University of Liège, Belgium. This university is ranked among the top 300 universities by the Shanghai ranking, 2013.

The diploma awarded at the end of the training is the Master of Science in Management, Public Management specialty of the University of Liège (diploma of the French Community of Belgium).

Duration of studies and details

The training, face-to-face, is about 350 hours. The teaching takes place full time, from the beginning of October to the end of May.

Registration

The students enrolled in this course are students regularly enrolled at the University of Liège, while enjoying the status of Bulgarian student for the duration of their studies.

Funding

The cost of training provided by ESFAM, comparable to that of European universities and colleges, is fully subsidized by the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie. Only a contribution to student life (housing in the university residence, insurance, transportation from the residence to the Institute, etc.), up to 500 EUR per academic year, is to be paid by the student.

Management Course of European Affairs

Training aims

The enlargement of the European Union poses the need to better train a new generation of leaders in European issues and its modes of negotiation, the diversity of actors and their strategies, the specific modes of intercultural management. The Master of European Affairs Management is a one-year program (60 credits) whose objective is to train this type of managers.

opportunities

Graduates of this course will have a solid background in European Union and the European environment. They can aim at two types of professional strategy:

  • That of the European student attracted by the professions of consultant, in charge of mission "European affairs and programs", Europe leader, head of zone Europe that it is possible to exercise in a private company, an administration, a consulting company and audit, a consular agency, a trade union, an association, etc.
  • That of the foreign student, coming from a zone outside Europe, for which the opportunities are in the companies and administrations of his country of origin in relation with Europe.
