Introduction

Students specialize in market and advertising psychology to develop the psychological understanding of markets and customers, which ultimately determine the success of companies.
The master conveys application-oriented knowledge that can be used with increasing importance, for example in marketing, market research, consulting or in different areas of product management. Your self-study in the master Do it your way! In advance, the students receive detailed information on the upcoming attendance phase as well as self-learning material and / or tasks from the lecturers, which are to be worked through to the seminar.
Your exams during your studies Always know what you know. After each presence phase, a transfer work or exam is written. A transfer work comprises between 5 and 8 pages, an exam lasts 60 minutes.
Your innovation project The innovation project is processed in small groups of 2 to 3 students, presented twice and worked out in writing. You will then submit the written development of the innovation project (approx. 15 pages) and the written documentation of the pitch presentation and you can count it as a student research project.
Your transfer project for practice Illustrate transfer. Your transfer project for graduation. The transfer project comprises the project study work (PSA), the study work (SA) and the thesis.Your final exam in the Master of Science Defend your ideas. The final exam includes the presentation and defense of the master's thesis.
Your travels during your studies In addition to the optional Steinbeis SMI trips abroad (see fact sheet), you can take the IOM to the world's largest conference for management researchers, the annual meeting of the Academy of Management. This conference is held each year in the first half of August in the United States or Canada. Alternatively, you can use the IEC to organize a stay at a renowned Indian partner university in Bangalore.
