Introduction
The Opera was born in Italy. Gioacchino Rossini, Vincenzo Bellini, Gaetano Donizetti, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini dictate the rules and developing the opera playful up to that romantic melodrama and realism. The Costume Designer is an artist who knows costume history, tradition, anthropological roots, psychological interpretations, emotional suggestions, manufacturing craftsmanship, contemporary creative, dexterity and technical teacher who possesses the culture of design.
The level Master the Art and the Costume Designer Craft Lyrical Opera and Ballet, (60 credits) aims to deepen cultural and professional training under the costume, from design to construction. Lifespan

Curriculum
The course is theoretical-practical and offers important tools for designing, modeling, machining, experimenting, and applying sartorial techniques to the realization of costumes, wigs, makeup and masks, hats, and accessories. The “educational experience”, moreover, is characterized by a transfer of sociological knowledge (character characterization), economic-management (budget), organizational (relationships), and operational (bargaining and needs management/department).
There are also seminars with field experts, set designers, dancers, actors, directors, laboratory workshops and exercises, individual guided studies, visits to theatres, costume shops, museums, art collections, and galleries.
